ETH Medals for Alberto Vallone and Andreas Walker
Congratulations to Alberto Vallone and Andreas Walker for receiving ETH Medals for their Master Theses!
Alberto Vallone, supervised by Dr. Siddhant Kumar and Prof. Dennis Kochmann, wrote his thesis on the topic of inverse-designed spinodoids for synthetic bones and mechanical metamaterials.
Andreas Walker, also supervised by Dr. Siddhant Kumar and Prof. Dennis Kochmann, received the ETH Medal for his thesis on wave propagation in metamaterials with spinodal topologies.
The ETH Medal is the institution's highest honor for outstanding Master theses and is awarded annually to a small number of graduating students. We are delighted that this year two of our graduates are awarded this distinction. Congratulations!
